in five short days i was lucky enough to run to phoenix
and new orleans. trying to live it up before i die on march 21st jk jk. i promise i'm real excited. first, two days in frank lloyd wright paradise at the biltmore.
the bump in the lobby. 34 weeks.it was dru's annual event, which i could not miss after last year's fine experience. because of my large stature, i did not help but get ready for next year guys! i'm already looking for a babysitter.
oh and go to chelsea's kitchen if you're in phoenix. it was delightful.
then to new orleans for rolfe's dermatology meetings. oh how i love this city! after coming here many times as a young girl, i honestly feel that it had a large influence on my love for art, antiques and fine dining. i can't think of anything i'd rather do than wander up and down royal and magazine street.

our third walk by brad pitt's house in the french quarter. each time we marveled that angelina would allow such clutter on their balcony (there were literally dressed up mannequins amongst a hundred plants and flags), but each time pat confidently said it must just be for the kids. finally we asked a neighbor and a tour guide and found that we had been stalking his next door neighbor...
ahh much classier. they were not home.
our final night at august. if you go to new orleans, run don't walk there. speaking of walking there, we got in a cab, said the name of the restaurant and the cab driver literally drove us two blocks to the restaurant. embarrassing. i guess we should look up the location before we hail a cab (although sadly enough i was happy it was two less blocks to walk).
thank you pat and rolfe! i can't tell you how wonderful it was to have one last weekend devoid of all responsibility.

why do i not know new orleans better?! i've only been there twice oddly enough and it was years ago. i love the brad pitt house story and cab story! so classic horsley. what a great last vacation before the babe. great pics! the biltmore was sure beautiful. get ready for sin city next year. oh joy.
i hate this post. it makes me so jealous! so happy you got to enjoy one last trip before the babe. your belly looks darling! i'm glad you didn't see brad and angellina. imagine how depressed i would be to miss that? it looks like a dreamy trip!!
